Therapy for the way your mind works.
Individual therapy for adults with ADHD, or who think they might have it. These are the places we tend to start.

Focus, time and follow-through
For adults who start strong and stall, lose track of time, or know exactly what to do and still cannot begin. We map where it breaks down, then build planning tools and routines you can use between sessions.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Planning and time tools
Routines that fit your week

Overwhelm and worry
For racing thoughts, perfectionism and the tension that makes it hard to rest. We practice noticing the spiral early and have a few things ready to try when it starts.
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Grounding and regulation skills
Working with perfectionism

Late diagnosis and identity
For adults who learned late that ADHD may explain a lot, or who suspect it does. Therapy is a steady place to take in what that means and what you want to do next.
Narrative work
Values clarification
Self-compassion

Relationships and work
For the friction at home and at work: missed plans, half-finished tasks, people who read it as not caring. You practice clearer communication, boundaries and asking for what helps.
Direct communication
Boundary practice
Asking for support

Burnout and low motivation
For years of compensating that have run the tank down. We look at pacing, rest and what is worth your energy, and build routines you can keep on a hard day.
Behavioral activation
Pacing and rest
Sustainable routines
What a session looks like
Sessions are 50 minutes, in person or by video. We start with what is on your mind this week, work on one thing together, and end with a plan for what to try before we meet again. I explain each tool before we use it.
What this is not
This is talk therapy for adults. It is not an evaluation or testing, coaching, crisis care, or couples or family therapy, and I do not prescribe medication. If something here is not what you need, I will say so and help you look.
How long and how often
Most clients start weekly. Your clinician sets the pace with you, and I do not promise a number of sessions. We check how it is going as we go.
How it is paid
I am out of network with insurance plans, and I give you my fee in writing before you book. The page on how fees work explains receipts for reimbursement and the Good Faith Estimate.
Three questions about sessions
Do I need a diagnosis to start?
No. Some clients come with a diagnosis, some suspect ADHD, and some are not sure. You do not need a diagnosis to start therapy, and I do not diagnose ADHD here.
Can we meet by video?
Yes, if you are in California when we meet. I am licensed in California and cannot see clients who are in other states.
What if it is not a fit?
It happens. If it does not feel right after a session or two, I will help you find someone who is a better match.
Ready to start?
Tell me how to reach you. I reply on weekdays.
